Green hydrogen is a newer technology that has recently been gaining traction, some claim that it is the next step to reducing our carbon emissions. Green hydrogen is a clean fuel source that is created using clean energy from wind turbines and solar panels. It seems to be a better alternative for the future when compared to other fuel sources like fossil fuels.

A big advantage that green hydrogen has over other fuel sources is its renewability. The process of making it uses renewable sources, as well as being renewable itself. Green hydrogen is produced using water, and electricity making it a very accessible fuel source as well.

Green hydrogen is produced by an electric current being introduced to water, in turn splitting the water into hydrogen and oxygen. Its called green hydrogen when it is produced using cleanly produced electricity. Some disadvantages of green hydrogen however, is the cost and safety. Hydrogen is flammable, so it needs to be properly handeled, and it is more expensive than other sources of hydrogen.
